Very well said!! He most certainly does deserve more recognition. Have you seen his chilling performance in ‘The Lovely Bones’? It’s incredible.

George Peppard, Marlon Brando, Henry Fonda, James Stewart and Gregory Peck. I like a lot of actors, therefore it was very difficult for me to put them into such a small list. Thanks for commenting!

Nice list i like all bar Mike Myres on your list,
my top 5 are in no particular order,
Dicaprio, JGL, The Rock, Cillian Murphy and Paul Dano
My list is clearly made up of stars i will be seeing through both my life and their life as i like to follow careers from beginning rather than looking back, so i doesn’t mean i don’t like the work of older stars.
You met The Rock how did you manage that?

Thank You for reading! Dicaprio is great. Don’t think I recognise Cillian Murphy, will have to check a few of his films out sometime soon.
Well, I was at an assessment induction day at ITV Studios, and that very morning ‘The Rock’ was being interviewed. So I consider myself very lucky to have bumped into him on my break.

sounds like you might be on the way to be able to change your blog name already, Cillian was scarecrow in Nolan’s Batman, 28 days later and the person whose dreams they enter in Inception

Haha – I wish! Oh right, he was in Inception! I think I have an idea now about the guy you’re referring to.

I’m a huge Steve Carell fan as well! I especially love his performance in Little Miss Sunshine (which is probably my favourite film of all-time). Tom Hanks would also be in my own Top 10 actors.

Funnily enough, ‘Little Miss Sunshine’ is one of the two of his films I haven’t got round to viewing yet. But I look forward to it. Great to see there’s more love for Carell! Thanks for reading.

My favorites are Michael Caine and Christopher Lloyd. If we’re including Indian actors, then Amitabh Bachchan as well.
How’d you meet The Rock?

Oh yes, Michael Caine is good. Christopher Lloyd did a good job in Back to the Future.

What a great list this is. I like how high up Stanley Tucci is, he’s such a great presence in a lot of films and doesn’t always get the credit he deserves. Also, I love that Steve Carell is your number one – that’s a bold choice. I still haven’t had the opportunity to see Foxcatcher, though I’ve heard his performance is great.

Thank You very much! Yes, Stanley Tucci is wonderful and certainly deserves more credit for his work and talent. Glad you think the same. When you next have time to yourself, I insist that you give Foxcatcher a go – it may be a slow-burner, but it is completely worth it. You’ll see Carell like you’ve never seen him before! It’s truly chilling.

This is a superb list! Love your #1 and I agree that his laugh is ridiculously awesome. Ever seen The Office outtakes? Whenever he breaks character I can’t help but just lose it too. He’s so good. My #1 right now would have to be Tom Hanks.
